Sterilisation Validation Service

Sterilisation Validation Service

Medtek offers sterilisation validation (performance qualification) service testing to ensure sterilisers or autoclaves are capable of sterilising the most challenging load that could be processed by a health practice. Our proven validation service and procedures and compliance measures are in accordance with Australian Standards – AS/NZS:4815 and AS/NZS:4817, and occur before initial use of equipment, and then regularly, in 12 month or less intervals. After a validation service, Medtek can issue the relevant compliance reports; allowing your practice to achieve safety accreditation with ISO:9001 and the Australian Medical Association (AGPAL).

For Biological Indicator Testing, Medtek expertly offers healthcare practices the training and support they need to conduct this test. In accordance with the RACGP Infection Control Standards, Medtek will provide microbiological qualification support to the designated healthcare staff tasked with sterilisation responsibilities.
